Cosmic perturbation theory beyond one-loop

Future large-scale structure surveys require precise and efficient methods to evaluate observables within the weakly non-linear regime. Apart from numerical N-body simulations, perturbative techniques have proven to be a useful tool. After a review of the framework of standard perturbation theory and its limitations, and an effective field theory framework for taking the impact of highly non-linear, small-scale modes on the weakly non-linear scales into account, I present the application of this technique to the bispectrum at two-loop order. Finally, I briefly discuss a method to incorporate
massive neutrinos, and an effective theory approach applied to BOSS Lyman alpha data.
